Job Description	Responsibilities: Looking for an enthusiastic and committed librarian to plan and implement a full range of programs for young people to support the library’s mission, including but not limited to preschool story hours, teen programs, and summer reading programs; to develop and maintain, through selection and weeding, a current and useful collection of print and non-print materials for children through age 17; to manage publicity for youth programs; to fill in at circulation desk as needed and assist with other library tasks. A thorough familiarity with children’s and teen literature is desirable. This position will ideally be filled by an energetic, creative, flexible team player with a great sense of humor, and a love for people of all ages. 40 hours a week, including one evening a week, and some Saturdays. Requirements: MLS. Experience with young people and a desire to work with them. Knowledge of children’s and teen literature. Computer whiz preferred.
