Job Description Responsibilities include copy cataloging of monographic and
continuation titles using OCLC’s WorldCat database; maintaining holdings
and catalog records in an automated library system (SirsiDynix Unicorn);
physical processing, preservation, and repair of material in the library
collection. The successful candidate must be detail oriented and have
excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

Qualifications include: bachelor's degree and one year of related library
experience; associate’s degree with more extensive experience considered.
Familiarity with, and ability to apply, standard copy cataloging methods
and MARC bibliographic coding. Ability to perform the fine manual work
involved in book repair. Experience with personal computers and MS
Windows. Experience with MS Excel desirable. Ability to retrieve and
shelve books and move loaded book trucks.
