Job Description Gumberg Library at Duquesne University seeks an experienced, collaborative, and dynamic leader for its recently created Teaching and Learning Department which consists of the department head and the Instructional Design Librarian. Reporting to the Assistant University Librarian for Teaching, Research, and Engagement, and working closely with library faculty, the Head of Teaching and Learning will take Gumberg Library’s instructional programs to the next level by developing new approaches to information literacy instruction, advancing online learning initiatives, and by collaborating with campus stakeholders to incorporate and assess information literacy within the curriculum.

The successful candidate will lead the library’s strategic efforts to contribute to student success through innovative instruction and faculty and staff partnerships that focus on learners as critical and creative thinkers and knowledge producers.
