Job Description Chapel Hill Public Library is looking for an experienced, collaborative, user-focused leader to become its next Library Experiences Manager. This management-level position is a key member of CHPL's leadership team.

The Library Experiences Manager oversees a dynamic team of Coordinators and frontline staff at one of NC's busiest public libraries. This team carries out all the functions of traditional Circulation and Reference departments, including adult readers' services, digital literacy, patron accounts, and materials management.

Here's what you'll need to get the job done:

A human-centered approach to designing policies, processes, and services that meet user needs

The ability to build relationships, lead teams, and foster collaboration

Excellent communication skills

Curiosity, creativity, and compassion

You'll also need at least three years of supervisory experience, direct experience managing customer service functions, and demonstrated ability to successfully manage major projects.
