Job Description The Technical Assistant under supervision, assists with customer reference, computer information and other library services and programs in any public area of library facilities or locations, in person, by phone, by email or other means. Duties may include, but are not limited to: greeting and guiding customers; issuing library cards; assisting or serving users with library equipment, information technology, and office equipment; assisting with locating Library materials and basic searches for information; assisting customers with self-checkout and self-payment of library service fees and fines; sorting and handling books and other items; applying library policies; and performing related duties as required.

Knowledge of Computer software applications. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; provide excellent customer service
